If you are interested in making some crafts of your own using pieces of coins, here is what you need:  12" tinners (pictured), and that's about it.  You'll want to make sure they are de-greased to avoid the coin slipping.  They're available just about anywhere hardware is sold.

I use these a lot, too, but the main tool is the tinners.

I also made a YouTube video a while back for people just starting with it.  Here is the link:  How to Cut a Coin - YouTube

Once you get used to it, though, you won't need the safety glasses, gloves, hammer, or anything.  Other than that, it's just a lot of trial and error, practice, and time.  It's a low barrier to entry and it makes a good hobby for those who enjoy puzzles but want to test their hand strength and creativity. You're welcome to look at my portfolio page and shop page for ideas and patterns!
